App Store and Google Play Supplemental Terms
These App Store and Google Play Supplemental Terms apply when you download, access, purchase, subscribe to, or use HabitatOS through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or another app distribution platform. These Supplemental Terms are part of the HabitatOS Terms of Use.
Together with the HabitatOS Terms of Use at habitatos.io/terms, this page is the end user license agreement (EULA) for HabitatOS. It is also reachable at habitatos.io/eula.
1. Platform Terms Also Apply
If you download or purchase HabitatOS through Apple App Store, Google Play, or another app platform, your use of the app may also be governed by that platform's terms, rules, policies, payment terms, refund policies, and developer program requirements.
To the extent these Supplemental Terms or the HabitatOS Terms of Use conflict with mandatory platform terms, the mandatory platform terms control only for that conflict.
2. App Store Purchases and Subscriptions
Subscriptions and paid features bought inside the HabitatOS mobile app are sold and billed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, using their in-app purchase systems. The HabitatOS mobile app does not offer or link to any other purchase method.
HabitatOS does not receive or store full payment card numbers or payment card security codes for in-app purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play.
When you purchase through Apple, Google, or another platform, that platform may process your payment, manage renewals, calculate taxes, provide receipts, determine refund eligibility, and control cancellation procedures. Deleting your HabitatOS account or uninstalling the app does not necessarily cancel an app-store subscription. You must cancel through the platform that bills you.
3. Apple App Store Terms
This Section 3 applies if you obtained HabitatOS from the Apple App Store. It states the minimum terms Apple requires of a developer end user license agreement.
Acknowledgement. These Terms are between you and Paladin Labs LLC only, not Apple. Paladin Labs, not Apple, is solely responsible for HabitatOS and its content.
Scope of license. Paladin Labs grants you a non-transferable license to use HabitatOS on any Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, except that HabitatOS may be accessed and used by other accounts associated with you through Family Sharing or volume purchasing.
Maintenance and support. Paladin Labs is solely responsible for providing maintenance and support for HabitatOS, as specified in these Terms or as required by applicable law. Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support services for HabitatOS.
Warranty. Paladin Labs is solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent not effectively disclaimed. If HabitatOS fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price of HabitatOS to you, if any. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to HabitatOS, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses attributable to any failure to conform to any warranty are the sole responsibility of Paladin Labs.
Product claims. Paladin Labs, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to HabitatOS or your possession and use of it, including product liability claims, any claim that HabitatOS fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation.
Intellectual property claims. If a third party claims that HabitatOS or your possession and use of it infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, Paladin Labs, not Apple, is solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of that claim.
Legal compliance. You represent and warrant that you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a terrorist-supporting country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
Developer contact. Questions, complaints, and claims about HabitatOS should be directed to Paladin Labs LLC, 11 Municipal Drive, Suite 200, PMB 1022, Fishers, Indiana 46038, United States, Support@habitatos.io.
Third-party beneficiary. Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple will have the right, and is deemed to have accepted the right, to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
4. Google Play Terms
If you downloaded HabitatOS from Google Play, these Terms are between you and Paladin Labs LLC, not Google; Google is not responsible for HabitatOS or its content; Google has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for HabitatOS, except where required by applicable law; subscription management, cancellation, refund requests, and payment issues may need to be handled through Google Play according to Google's policies; and any claims related to HabitatOS should be directed to Paladin Labs, not Google, except where Google's own terms or applicable law provide otherwise.
5. Refunds
Refunds for purchases made through Apple, Google, or another app-store/payment platform are generally handled by that platform according to its own refund policies.
Except where required by law or applicable platform policy, Paladin Labs does not provide refunds, credits, or prorated refunds for partial subscription periods, unused features, accidental purchases, account inactivity, app removal, or failure to cancel before renewal.
6. Device and Platform Requirements
HabitatOS may require compatible devices, operating systems, app versions, network access, platform accounts, app-store access, and third-party services.
Some features may not be available on all devices, platforms, countries, app versions, beta programs, or distribution channels.
7. Platform Permissions
HabitatOS may request permissions such as camera access, photo-library access, push notification access, local storage access, or other app permissions. Permission availability and controls may vary by device and operating system.
You can usually manage app permissions through your device settings.

For HabitatOS product support, account questions, privacy requests, security reports, or legal notices, contact Paladin Labs at Support@habitatos.io.
For platform billing, app-store receipts, refund requests, or subscription cancellation, you may also need to contact Apple, Google, or the platform that processed your purchase.
