Subprocessors
This page lists the third-party service providers ("subprocessors") that Paladin Labs LLC uses to operate HabitatOS and that may process personal information on our behalf. It supports Section 3 and Section 4 of our Privacy Policy at habitatos.io/privacy.
Where we disclose personal information to a provider on this list, we require that provider by contract to protect it with the same or equal protection as described in our Privacy Policy, to use it only for the purposes we specify, and not to sell it or use it for its own advertising.
1. Infrastructure and Hosting
- Render Services, Inc. Application hosting, managed database, and key-value storage for the HabitatOS website, web application, and API. United States.
- Cloudflare, Inc. Content delivery, DNS, and edge protection in front of our origin servers. United States.
2. Authentication
- Apple Inc. Sign in with Apple. Processes an Apple-issued identifier and, if you elect to share it, your email address.
- Google LLC. Google Sign-In. Processes a Google-issued identifier and, if your account settings permit, your email address.
- Clerk, Inc. Hosted sign-in broker used for social login on the HabitatOS web application.
3. Subscriptions and Payments
- Apple Inc. Sells and bills subscriptions purchased inside the HabitatOS iOS app. Apple does not share your payment card details with us.
- Google LLC. Sells and bills subscriptions purchased inside the HabitatOS Android app. Google does not share your payment card details with us.
- RevenueCat, Inc. Verifies and records subscription entitlements for in-app purchases made through the Apple App Store and Google Play.
4. Notifications and Email
- Apple Inc. Apple Push Notification service, for push notifications to iOS devices.
- Google LLC. Firebase Cloud Messaging, for push notifications to Android devices.
- Expo (650 Industries, Inc.). Push notification infrastructure and mobile application services.
- Postmark (ActiveCampaign, LLC). Transactional email, such as verification codes, password reset messages, and waitlist confirmations. We do not send marketing email.
5. Diagnostics and Analytics
- Functional Software, Inc. (Sentry). Error and crash diagnostics. Reports may include a user identifier; we configure Sentry to redact passwords, tokens, API keys, credentials, authorization headers, and cookies.
- Plausible Insights OU. Website analytics for habitatos.io. Cookie-free, and does not store personal information about website visitors. Estonia and the European Union.
6. Sensor Providers You Connect
Sensor integrations are optional and are started by you. When you connect a provider, HabitatOS uses the credentials or tokens you supply to retrieve device and telemetry data on your behalf. These providers act under their own terms and privacy policies, not as our subprocessors, and may include MOCREO, Govee, Tuya/Smart Life, SensorPush, Inkbird, Herpstat, Shelly, SwitchBot, and other supported providers.
Disconnecting an integration stops HabitatOS from retrieving further data. To delete information held by the provider itself, contact that provider directly.
7. Changes to This List
We may add, replace, or remove subprocessors as the Service changes. We will update this page and its Last Updated date when we do. If you would like advance notice of changes to this list, write to Support@habitatos.io.
