These terms apply to free HabitatOS Pro and Plus offers that Paladin Labs LLC gives out through partners, events, emails and cards, such as a code in a partner's order, a card at a show or a code in a partner's email. They add to our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
The Short Version. Some offers are free periods that end on their own and never charge you. Other offers are free trials through the Apple App Store or Google Play: after the free trial, your Apple or Google account is charged the price stated on the offer (for example $9.99 a month, plus any tax) automatically until you cancel. Each offer says which kind it is.
1. What You Get.
The free period or free trial stated on the offer (for example, 30 days) of HabitatOS Pro or Plus, starting when you redeem.
2. Free Periods And Free Trials.
Some offers give a free period of HabitatOS Pro or Plus through our own systems. We do not ask for payment details, and we never charge you automatically; when the free period ends, your account moves to the Free plan. Other offers are free trials redeemed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. For those, the offer states the price after the trial, and your Apple or Google account is charged that price automatically when the trial ends and on each renewal until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings; cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends to avoid being charged. Apple's and Google's own terms also apply to those trials. Your records stay in your account either way.
3. Who Can Redeem.
People in the United States, 13 or older (under 18 with a parent's or guardian's permission), who do not have an active paid HabitatOS plan, unless the offer says otherwise. Free trials through Apple or Google are for new subscribers, as Apple or Google decides. One redemption per person and per account.
4. Codes.
Codes have no cash value, cannot be sold or traded, and expire on the date shown. We may cancel codes that are copied, sold, shared publicly against these terms, or used to get around these limits.
5. Partners.
Our partners hand out the offer, but the offer and the HabitatOS service come from Paladin Labs LLC. Partners do not receive your HabitatOS information, and we do not receive your order details or email lists from them. If a partner sends you an email about an offer, you can stop that partner's emails by using the unsubscribe link in that email.
6. Changes.
We may end or change an offer that has not been redeemed. A free period or free trial you have already started runs to its end.
